Greenleaf is sadly playing out, as Leaf-fall arrives. There is still plenty of prey, though, and it isn't cold yet.

Northern Warriors
Inspired by WARRIORS--a book series about fierce and feral cats written by Erin Hunter--except that we have different clans, and different cats. Also, our clans live a long way away from the cats by the lake. You would understand if you read the plot.(once it's done, though. XD)

The red tabby leaped from solid ground to stone as he made his way across the bog, barely noticing the gruff warnings from his uncle, Cedar. That dreaded toad had mocked him for far too long!
Creeping up on the croaking creature, Snake growled, and hardly noticed the slight squelching noise his paws made as they sunk into the ground the closer he got.
Suddenly, just as the toad glanced his way, the bogland broke beneath him. With a yowl, the tom was soon covered to the shoulder with mug--dragging mug.
Just as quickly as he'd fallen in, Snake was rescued. "Honestly, Snake, you're such a kit," the leader hissed, eyes dark as they shot towards the younger tom.

Tree and Foxy stepped from the low-hanging trees, where their feet squelched a bit on the ground. Foxy looked up to see Cedar, the leader, and a dripping wet and covered in mud Snake. A look of alarm and then amusement crossed her face. "Snake, you really should be more careful." She purred.
Tree was more alarmed. "Snake! Are you all right?" He was about to race over to Snake, but thought better of it; He didn't want to end up in the same predicament as Snake had. It would be extremely embarassing. And then Foxy was her too, which would make it worse.
